Based on real stories of teenagers
Are superheroes born or do you can become one? How to be a hero to yourself? What authorities to follow? How to become a better version of yourself? How to survive bullying? What is friendship and love? How to not be afraid of dreaming and always be yourself? These and other questions are posed by performance “Superheroes.“
Performance is based on real stories. Playwriter Gabrielė and director Loreta Vaskova communicated with teenagers from age 15 to 18, from all over Lithuania. Where some of them were sitting in the library and to others being in jail. They created characters who spoke about things that are relevant to teenagers. Not even one of the stories is similar because all of us are different. The performance does not intend to judge, moralize, or teach what is right or wrong. Creators want to give a look to a different reality where maybe we may see ourselves and will understand others more easily.
