We are happy to announce that for the second year we will continue the international performing arts festival "ConTempo OFF" adventure.

We invite you to submit proposals for this year's OFF program - those that seek the boundaries of performing arts, present new, experimental creators and rising stars.

"ConTempo OFF" is an independent experimental platform initiated by the Kaunas City Chamber Theater and the audiovisual experimental theater "Kosmos Theater". It aims to present interdisciplinary works by Lithuanian creators that do not fit into the traditional boundaries of music, theater or art and the usual festival formats.

In the one-day program on August 7th it is planned to present up to 5 different works in Kaunas. The OFF program will be structured according to the following priorities:
• presentation of non-traditional works of beginning creators (presentation of completed works and sketches);
• interdisciplinary work by already experienced creators of different fields, in which live performance and audience participation would prevail;
• interactive and personally experienced self-propelled audio and video installations.

A technical base will be provided for the presentation of the works and an information campaign will be carried out. When additional financial sources appear, it is planned to allocate a budget for the presentation of the work for each work to cover copyright, transport, technical or other costs related to the presentation of the work.

We invite you to submit works by filling out the electronic application form. The selection of works will end when the final program is drawn up, with the publication of which we will close the selection, and we will evaluate the submitted applications all the time, so the earlier the proposals are submitted, the better the chance of being selected!

The international performing arts festival "ConTempo" will take place in 2024. August 5-11 Kaunas city and district.
