Čekų trupės „Musaši Entertainment Company“ pristatoma „Essay on Light“ (liet. „Esė apie šviesą“) – šmaikšti audiovizualinė esė su objektų teatro elementais, kurioje apšvietimas veikia kaip personažas. Kaip šviesa formuoja kūrinių atmosferą, dramatiškumą, išryškina skirtingus žanrus? Nuo pirmykštės ugnies iki optinių kabelių – šviesa yra mūsų istorijos, technologijų ir kūrybos šerdis.
Pasirodymo metu siekiama atrasti galimybes, kaip atvirai mąstyti apie teatrą per patį teatrą ir jo priemones, ne tik konceptualiai ir metaforiškai. Siekdama šio tikslo, spektaklio kūrybinė komanda sėmėsi įkvėpimo iš kino pasaulio, konkrečiai – iš audiovizualinės esė žanro, kuris dėl medijos galimybių panaudojimo yra tikslesnis ir įdomesnis.
Spektaklis vyks čekų k. su angliškais surtitrais.

Essay on Light is an experimental puppet production based on an interest in theatre technology and the belief that it is important to share our thoughts on creation and artistic form through the form itself, thus bringing the possibilities of contemporary theatre closer to audiences. In the mosaic of audiovisual essay, we will enter worlds where light plays an important role, whether it is the control of fire by primitive man or the transmission of the internet via optical cables.
Essay on Light aims to discover the possibilities of how to openly think about theatre through theatre itself and its own means, not only conceptually and metaphorically. In this goal we draw inspiration from the world of film, specifically from the genre of audiovisual essay, which, thanks to the use of the possibilities of the medium, is more precise and entertaining.
