The “Peter Pan” team nominated for 2 “Golden Stage Crosses”!
Congratulations to the creative team of the performance “Peter Pan” for receiving two nominations for the prestigious Lithuanian theatre awards “Auksiniai scenos kryžiai” (“Golden Stage Crosses”).
In the category “Male Role”, actor Šarūnas Rapolas Meliešius is nominated for his portrayal of Peter Pan in “Peter Pan”.
In the category “Emerging Artist”, Karolis Zajauskas is nominated for directing “Peter Pan” at Kaunas City Chamber Theatre, as well as for lighting design in “Icarus Machine” at Šiauliai State Drama Theatre.
The winners of the competition will be announced and awarded on March 27, on International Theatre Day, at the State Youth Theatre. The ceremony will be broadcast live on LRT television.
The premiere of “Peter Pan” took place on March 29, 2025, while the production journey began back in 2023, when it won the sketch competition of the international youth theatre festival “Point of Departure”.
The next opportunity to see “Peter Pan” is on March 31.
